As part of Dublin Tech Week 2026, The Digital Hub is hosting a Lunch & Learn roundtable with @rent_a_recruiter exploring how AI is changing hiring and what growing companies need to rethink.
Hiring has changed. CVs look stronger, candidate volume is rising and decision-making is getting harder.
This practical, discussion-led session is designed for founders, CEOs and HR leaders managing hiring in scaling businesses.
Table discussions will cover:
• AI in recruitment operations: where it saves time and where it creates noise
• The human in the loop: when everyone looks strong on paper, how do you assess real capability?
• The future of hiring: what comes after traditional CV screening?
Attendees will receive:
• Talent Competitor Report (€400 value)
• Post-event summary and key takeaways
• Peer discussion with other scaling teams
📍 The Lunch & Learn session will take place in The Learning Studio at Digital Depot on Tuesday, 26th May from 1pm - 2pm.
🎟 Limited places are available so ensure you register to avoid disappointment.

📣 Call for Expressions of Interest in leasing The Bank at The Digital Hub 📣
The Digital Hub Development Agency (DHDA) seeks expressions of interest from suitably experienced individuals, organisations or consortia who may wish to apply, under a public tender process, to lease The Bank at The Digital Hub for uses that align with the vision, mission and objectives of The Digital Hub.
Register your interest by 6pm on Friday, 5th June 2026. ⏰
The DHDA is exploring whether an organisation or individual aligned with its strategic objectives would be interested in taking an initial three-year lease on the building. This organisation would be responsible for delivering a programme of public activities in the building.
An information booklet outlines the history and ownership of the building, its current use, building dimensions and features, probable profile of the tenant and the DHDA’s public tender process and timelines.

Great to see the scaffold removed from St. Patrick’s Tower following some repair and repointing of the lower brickwork — all done to a traditional brickwork pointing technique called the penny strike.
Read more about the works to convert the ground floor of the historic St Patrick’s Tower into a new event, exhibition and community space, enabling it to be used for the first time since the 1860s via the LinkTree in our bio.

Bhí sé go deas fáilte a chur roimh an Aire Forbartha Tuaithe agus Pobail agus Gaeltachta, @daracalleary TD agus Comhairleoir @deirdreheney chuig an Mol Digiteach inné le haghaidh seoladh Todhchaí. ‘Séard is Todhchaí ann ná clár fiontraíochta náisiúnta nua atá deartha chun geilleagar Gaeilge na hÉireann a fhás agus chun tacú le glúin atá ag ardú de bhunaitheoirí a roghnaíonn gnólachtaí a thógáil trí Ghaeilge.
Chuir Kerrill Thornhill, Príomhfheidhmeannach @meg_healthcareqms agus ball fadtéarmach den Mhol Digiteach, fáilte roimh an Aire Calleary agus an Comhairleoir Heney.
Is comhpháirtíocht é Todhchaí idir @udarasnag, An Mol Digiteach agus @Gaeilge365 – tionscnamh de chuid na gceithre údarás áitiúil i mBaile Átha Cliath.
Delighted to welcome the Minister for Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht, @daracalleary TD and @deirdreheney to The Digital Hub yesterday for the launch of Todhchaí — a new national enterprise programme designed to grow Ireland’s Irish-language economy & support a rising generation of founders choosing to build businesses through Irish.
