The Bank is The Digital Hub’s latest repurposed space; from a former Bank of Ireland to a new versatile venue for the creative and business community.

The large, self-contained square space can be used for a wide variety of things — from rehearsals, performances, exhibitions, launch events and filming location to business seminars, workshops, networking events and training courses.

It has a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, fridge and dishwasher, an accessible toilet on the ground floor and additional toilets upstairs.

We currently have availability in December for this space.

The Digital Hub is delighted to be the venue host for the following Python and Electronic workshop series.

With CircuitPython, you can bring code to life and interact with real-world electronics.

⚙️ Join Vicky Twomey-Lee and Michael Twomey of Coding Grace for five hands-on, 1.5-hour workshops exploring the basics of circuits and electronics. You’ll make paper circuits, discover what breadboards are (spoiler: they’re not made of bread 🍞), learn how everything connects, and get to know the Raspberry Pi Pico.

💻 You’ll also learn how to use code to make your electronics work — and by the final session, you’ll build and programme your very own gamepad controller using CircuitPython and a Raspberry Pi Pico, then use it to play games on your laptop! 🏆🎮

👉 Places are limited to just 10 attendees, so registration is essential.

Did you know?

The pear tree next to St Patrick’s Tower dates from 1850 and still bears fruit today. It can be seen in a sketch of the Distillery c.1892.

The tree stands next to an historic industrial building called St Patrick’s Tower — a structure that was once the largest smock windmill in Europe.

It was built in 1757, as part of the George Roe & Co. whiskey distillery and rebuilt in 1805 with the latter date evident on a stone plaque.

Our multipurpose spaces are ideal for your workshop, training or showcase event, product demo, investor pitch or rehearsal.

Bay 1 is a bright and spacious multipurpose space on the ground floor of the Digital Depot building.

This 2,551.5 sq. ft. room is used for a wide variety of things — from business seminars, workshops, networking events and training courses to filming location, rehearsal space for the arts industry and events such as performances and launches.

We currently have availability in October and December for this space.
