Akara`s team has translated this deep research into real-world technologies now deployed in leading hospitals across Europe and the U.S.

Akara helps hospitals perform more procedures and reduce infections through faster and more efficient room decontamination, powered by cutting-edge robotic automation and AI. This is important because patients that get infections spend three times longer in hospitals and infections acquired in hospitals lead to four times more deaths than road traffic accidents.

Today, Jack from Smart D8 spoke with @teenturn`s #Teenturnship pharma placements whose work from home dates were spent using laptops & WiFi in The Digital Hub`s Learning Studio.

It is always a pleasure when we can facilitate a connection between our programmes such as Teen-Turn and Smart D8!

Both initiatives do incredible work in terms of health, tech and wellbeing.

This week, The Digital Hub hosted Jazz Pharmaceuticals as they mentored and supported Teen-Turn participants who are undertaking Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance learning projects as part of their summer skilling experience with industry.

ℹ️ Libertine Market is a monthly flea-market pub crawl: a market spread across different pubs in The Liberties, Dublin 8.
