Todhchaí is a new national enterprise programme that aims to develop the Irish language economy in Ireland and support an emerging generation of founders who choose to develop businesses through Irish. Happy World Bee Day!
Today - with our partners - we are installing on The Digital Hub campus new sensors on the Liberties Community project Bee8 beehives to give us live sensor data on how temperature, wind, rain and city microclimates shape the conditions around each hive.
A new project website has just gone live allowing you to browse our beehive sites all over Dublin, packed with lesson plans and classroom resources for teaching about bees, biodiversity, urban ecology and live environmental data in the classroom.

As part of Dublin Tech Week 2026, The Digital Hub is hosting a Lunch & Learn roundtable with @rent_a_recruiter exploring how AI is changing hiring and what growing companies need to rethink.
Hiring has changed. CVs look stronger, candidate volume is rising and decision-making is getting harder.
This practical, discussion-led session is designed for founders, CEOs and HR leaders managing hiring in scaling businesses.
Table discussions will cover:
• AI in recruitment operations: where it saves time and where it creates noise
• The human in the loop: when everyone looks strong on paper, how do you assess real capability?
• The future of hiring: what comes after traditional CV screening?
