Culture Night 2025 at The Digital Hub

The Digital Hub campus, in the heart of the historic Liberties area of Dublin 8, will once again host several events and activities as part of Culture Night on Friday, 19th September.

Culture Night Market

We Love Markets will hold their third Culture Night Market in front of St. Patrick’s Tower at the Digital Depot building. Visitors can expect vendors selling local Irish design, mid-century furniture, vintage clothing and arts and crafts. The market runs from 4pm to 10pm.

After Light: These Dark Citizens

Artist, Peter Power, in partnership with The Digital Hub and Dublin City Council, has created a new bespoke geo-locational artwork called “After Light: These Dark Citizens” for the Liberties area. “After Light: These Dark Citizens” is a city wide interactive story that unfolds as the night falls on the Liberties and surrounds of Dublin 8. It’s a reactive audio walk that changes depending on the participants choices as they navigate the area, where they can listen to a series of interviews, stories, poetry, music and a mix of all the above, allowing them to encounter the evening and night energy of a city on their own terms. Participants will start their journey at the We Love Markets flea market, located in the Digital Depot carpark, where they will collect their map and then wander off on their own journey into the Liberties.

Dublin Camera Club Photography Exhibition

Dublin Camera Club have been a part of Culture Night since it first began, and this year will be no different. As in previous years, Dublin Camera Club will be opening their gallery to the public. The gallery will be showcased in the hallway of 10–13 Thomas Street at The Digital Hub. The current display will be refreshed just before the night itself with six new panels — each featuring five images on a theme, showcasing work from members who did well in recent panels competition. The exhibition will be available for public viewing from 6:30pm – 10:30pm.
