We Love Markets Monthly Flea Market
We Love Markets is a monthly flea market that takes place on The Digital Hub campus on the last Sunday of every month. The Market hosts up to 50 eclectic stalls, showcasing a mixture of local design and locally made artisan food, homemade crafts, clothes, furniture, bric-a-brac, vintage wares, artisan goods and plenty of hidden gems. The market supports local enterprises, organisations, designers and creatives in Dublin 8. The next market will be taking place on Sunday, 30th August from 11am - 5pm at the Digital Depot car park.
This weekend, the first session of the Python & Electronic Workshop series by Vicky Twomey-Lee and Michael Twomey of Coding Grace commences at The Digital Hub.
⚡️ Welcome to the world of electronics with Python where you can interact with electronics (it`s called CircuitPython).
⚙️ Through a series of five 1.5 hour workshops, attendees will be introduced to circuits with paper circuits, find out what breadboards are (It`s not made of bread 🍞); how it all connects together, what is a Raspberry Pi Pico, and how do you use code to make it all work?
🏆 By the end of the last session, attendees will be able to programme their own gamepad controller with CircuitPython and a Raspberry Pi Pico and play games on their laptop!
👉 Workshop places are limited to 10 attendees so registration is mandatory.

St Patrick`s Tower, on The Digital Hub campus, is currently undergoing renovation works to transform the ground floor of the iconic landmark into a new community, event and exhibition space.
New flooring and lighting has been installed inside the ground floor space and most notably, the original millstone is now on display outside, where seating and planters are being installed to create a space for people to sit and relax outside this landmark and much loved building in The Liberties area.
