We Love Markets Monthly Flea Market
We Love Markets is a monthly flea market that takes place on The Digital Hub campus on the last Sunday of every month. The Market hosts up to 50 eclectic stalls, showcasing a mixture of local design and locally made artisan food, homemade crafts, clothes, furniture, bric-a-brac, vintage wares, artisan goods and plenty of hidden gems. The market supports local enterprises, organisations, designers and creatives in Dublin 8. The next market will be taking place on Sunday, 26th July from 11am - 5pm at the Digital Depot car park.
The Liberties Festival ~ 20 - 26 July, 📍
Musicians and listeners are invited to join fiddle player Sinéad Kennedy for tunes and chat amongst the hives of @thelibertiescommunityproject`s Bee8 urban apiary garden on the grounds of The Digital Hub on Saturday, 25th July from 2:00pm.
@innercityBee8 is Ireland’s largest urban apiary project and social enterprise of @thelibertiescommunityproject, managing 40 beehives across Dublin city.
Sinéad Kennedy is a fiddle player and visual artist from the Bronx, New York / Co. Meath. She teaches music and visual arts to adults in the community in City of Dublin FET College, Thomas Street.
This event is currently sold out due to popular demand but there is a waitlist in order to register interest.

The Liberties Festival ~ 20 - 26 July, 📍
Join creative producer and facilitator, Rita Hynes of Cailleach Books, for a publishing workshop `Sowing The Seed`, as part of @thelibertiesfestival.
Assemble a unique process-led workbook and play with the form of the book, the zine and the something in-between.
Completed workbooks will be archived at the National Irish Visual Arts Library (NIVAL) as part of an ongoing collaboration with @ncad_dublin.
The workshops will be taking place on Saturday, 25th July in iD8 Studio at Digital Depot. There will be two sessions, one at 11:00am and one at 2:30pm.
The session at 2:30pm is currently sold out but there are tickets still available for the 11:00am session. The workshops are free but you must book a ticket in order to attend.

The Liberties Festival ~ 20 - 26 July, 📍
The Digital Hub is delighted to host `Where do we all belong`, an exhibition by Ronan Dillon, Peter Martin and Noel Feeney, as part of @thelibertiesfestival.
`Where do we all belong?` is a socially engaged visual art project exploring experiences of loneliness, connection and belonging in The Liberties.
The project began in May with a research phase that sought to better understand local attitudes, experiences and insights relating to loneliness in the area.
There will be a lunchtime talk at 1.15pm on Friday, 24th July around the project with its creators, participants and external insights.
The exhibition will be available for public viewing at The Bank at The Digital Hub, 85 James’s St, Dublin 8.
Exhibition Launch ~ Thursday, 23rd July at 6:30pm

Friday, 24th July - Saturday, 25th July ~ 12:00pm - 4:00pm

The Liberties Festival ~ 20 - 26 July, 📍
The Digital Hub member, @dublininquirer will be dropping into a few local businesses to chat with their owners for the second edition of Talking Shop as part of The Liberties Festival.
Last year’s edition saw members of the team drop into local businesses to discover some of the stories that shaped these businesses and frame them within the larger cultural and social context of The Liberties.
This year reporter Stephanie Costello, deputy editor Lois Kapila and reporter Michael Lanigan will be heading out, starting on Tuesday at 6:30pm in Hopeless Botanics on Dean Street, followed by Thomas House on Thomas Street at 7:30pm.
Then, on Wednesday, @dublininquirer will be over in Some Neck Guitars on Francis Street at 6:30pm and Picado Mexican on Cork Street at 7:30pm.
Finally, on Thursday, the team will be paying a visit to Martin Fennelly Antiques on Francis Street at 6:30pm and Betty Bojangles on Thomas Street at 7:30pm.
Each talk is free but booking is required.
