The Liber8 Music Projects returns and calls for participants.
The Digital Hub and BIMM Institute are delighted to announce the return of the Liber8 Music Project on Tuesday, February 21st.
The Liber8 Music Project is a free to attend, 10-week digital learning programme, with a musical focus, for 14-to-16-year olds in Dublin 8. Classes will take place at The Digital Hub (Digital Depot building on Roe Lane, off Thomas Street, Dublin 8) and BIMM Institute Dublin. To apply email info@thedigitalhub.com by Friday, February 10th.
The Digital Hub and BIMM Institute Dublin established this pilot programme in September 2017. The programme is a wonderful opportunity for young people, who may have limited exposure to music and digital media, to immerse themselves in a creative programme, which will also help them to acquire those 21st century skills they will need to succeed in their careers.
Over 10 weeks the young people complete three modules:
- Module 1: Music Styles
- Module 2: Introduction to Performance Techniques
- Module 3: Introduction to Recording and Sound Design
