Call for participants for new Robo Hub afterschool programme

The Digital Hub is delighted to announce a new pilot summer camp Robo Hub for 14-to-17-year olds living in Dublin 8 and its surroundings.

The pilot will run during the summer 2023 with a cohort of 15 participants attending the 2-week programme. Sessions will be held 3-times a week at The Digital Hub during July or August (tbc). Register your interest at: info@thedigitalhub.com.

This free-to-attend programme is a wonderful opportunity for young people who are interested in technology and engineering to learn electronics and programming. Participants will get to build their very own connected device at the Robo Hub.

The exciting programme will guide participants through the process of designing, prototyping, and implementing their very own weather sensors from scratch, culminating in a combined weather dashboard to be displayed in the Hub and online.

Robo Hub aims to help young people develop their technical skills and interests and start their journey into the world of engineering. The experienced instructors are robotics engineers from Trinity College Dublin. They are ready to guide participants through this exciting and challenging experience.
