About International Women’s Day

International Women’s Day (IWD) is a global day (Thursday, 8th March 2022) celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The campaign theme for 2022 is #BreakTheBias – a call to action for celebrating women’s achievements, raising awareness against bias and taking action for equality. It calls on us to imagine a gender equal world, a world free of bias, stereotypes and discrimination, a world that’s diverse, equitable, and inclusive and a world where difference is valued and celebrated. Together we can forge women’s equality. Collectively we can all #BreakTheBias. www.internationalwomensday.com
