Bee Garden Wins Dublin City Neighbourhoods Award

Congratulations to Liberties local,  Anthony Freeman O’Brien who won the Best New Entry award for Bee Garden – a garden project in Dublin 8. The Dublin City Neighbourhoods Competition is an annual competition for communities, schools and businesses in the city organised by Dublin City Council. The aim of the competition is to bring about a cleaner, greener environment and to make local areas more attractive for the benefit of all city residents and visitors. Bee Garden, situated on Watling Street in the Liberties area of Dublin, is a great example of the meanwhile use of a small section of The Digital Hub campus, where the space is generously provided free of charge as part of The Digital Hub’s collaboration on the Bee8 project.
