Layout Background Artist
Kavaleer Productions are currently hiring for a Layout Background Artist to join their team.
About the Role:
This is a fixed term contract and ONLY open to applicants living in the Republic of Ireland or willing to relocate.
Teams starting from: 6th April 2026
End Dates from: 9th October 2026
The Layout Department’s key role is to create production layouts for episodes, in line with approved keys and the style guide.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, along with excellent drawing skills
- Strong and clear communication skills
- Ability to work within a fast-paced series production schedule
- Excellent organisational and management skills
- Ability to adapt to changes within a highly dynamic environment
- Meticulous attention to detail

About Kavaleer:
Kavaleer Productions was founded in 2001 and over the past 20 years have forged a position as one of Ireland’s leading animation studios, having produced over a dozen TV shows for broadcasters such as BBC, Sky, Netflix and Nickelodeon. The studio launched three new shows in 2021 and is currently preparing production for “Adam Loves Adventure!” starring Virtual Hug hero, Adam King.
