Lead Animator

Kavaleer Productions are currently hiring for a Lead Animator to join their team.

About the Role:

This is a fixed term contract and ONLY open to applicants living in the Republic of Ireland.

Applicants under consideration will be required to complete an animation test before final selection.

The function of the Animation Team is to work with the Animation Director and Assistant Animation Director to ensure the highest level possible of animation throughout the production under the direction of the Offshore Director.

Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum of 3-5 years experience in 2D animation Production or,
• Currently working as a Lead Animator
• Demonstrated experience as a Lead Animator in episodic TV series
• Ability to work within deadlines
• A proficiency in Adobe Animate is essential*
• Strong and clear communication skills
• Ability to work within a fast-paced series production schedule
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Ability to adapt to changes within a highly dynamic environment
• Strong attention to detail is critical
